The Wairarapa features in the Winter 2012 edition of WineNZ magazine. Editor Martin Gillion visited the region and included Lynfer Estate in his tour and article.

Wines featured in the "Wairarapa - regional tasting" were selected as "outstanding examples of what the region can produce" and include Lynfer Estate Pinot Noir Rosé. This is described as "..a wine with an edge of fun to it. There's a hint of candy-floss flavour up-front, off-dry with good texture in the mouth. Summer sun in a bottle."

"One Thing You Should Try" - this is what food writer and critic David Burton had to say in Your Weekend magazine (The Dominion Post, 28 May 2011) about Lynfer Estate Pinot Noir during a review of the Silverspoon Restaurant in Silverstream, Upper Hutt. When served with a dish topped with a mushroom and thyme sauce he commented "This was perfect with a glass of posh Lynfer Estate Pinot Noir."
